An Old Man Life Story
Grandma telling a child an interesting story
In the past, our grandmother told us children stories, they did not read the story from a book as we do today; but the news from memory some very practical stories to tell children to interest and reassure them.
It's a modern crib, but when I was young and where I'm from, cribs were much simpler as long as they were big enough, secure enough, and could rock; and a mom was there to sing and rock.

The story of an old man's life.
Welcome to my article (2): The life story of an old man
Dear readers, this article could have been two articles, because it is: The story of an old man's life; but it also includes the duty of every man. Now let me tell you the story of an old man's life.
So let me tell you a story and transport you to another place and another time, when I was a little child and my mother or grandmother, at night she would tell me a story just for me, please lie down and sleep.
Oh Lord! What did I say? Do you tell stories that the elders of my time told me when I was a child; No, I'm sorry, dear readers, I was wrong and I apologize because today you see that I don't remember many of the stories that the elders of my time told me, while children back then were interested in these stories; Here I have to tell you that at that time mothers and grandmothers always had a story to tell the children, it was the only way to silence the children because there was no TV and especially radio for thousands of people the only news at that time it was in the papers if you could lend it to someone who could buy it the rest of the news was the news that the inhabitants told each other so they would know what was going on around them so that people would find them by word of mouth
In any case, the stories these old women told us were as good as any other story, and if the famous Brothers Grimm had known about them, they would have written them down in their storybook. The Annotated Brothers Grimm: Jacob Grimm, Wilhelm Grimm
Here I want to point out that a lot has changed since I was a child, but I still remember things that I want to tell you about, so let me continue. Now that I am talking about the mothers and grandmothers of the time, I will add that they worked hard to silence the children at that time, it was the only way, it was a ago. Here I want to add something else that today is no longer happening in the western world, I say the western world because what those old ladies did back then can still be done in backward countries today, you never know; I can imagine that there may still be some places where progress has not occurred and therefore people are still using the abilities that their ancestors have used for centuries or even thousands of years.
Anyway, let me describe what these old women did to put a baby to sleep, they would pick the baby up in their arms, sit in a sturdy chair, and sing a lullaby while rocking the chair until the baby fell asleep, or did. It was the same to put the baby in a cradle and rock the cradle and sing it a lullaby, those times were much more difficult than today for young mothers, as you can see they not only had to take care of the baby but also wash everything by hand because there was no washing machine. or other paper boxes that kept the child clean, so they had to rely on the skills they had acquired from their elders and worked hard to make everything run smoothly.
Nowadays it is much easier for young mothers, because of the washing machine and other things that make life less stressful, even singing lullabies has gone out of fashion, maybe it is because there is so much music, songs and everything that we surrounds, so singing lullabies have gone out of fashion; that's why you don't hear any mother singing her lullaby to her children, I suppose it's a sign of the times, people are not born singers, young mothers sang then because they had to, and it was their job to keep their children silent even though their singing
